The faculty of American Intercontinental University (AIU) hosted an exhibit titled "Real World Industry," highlighting work from successful local creatives. According to AIU, "This exhibition's goals are to expose, educate, enlighten, and introduce the students at AIU to the ‘Real World Industry’ using the work as a teaching tool."
All featured artists work in illustration or graphic design. Featured artists include: Joseph Minutello, who has created fashion illustrations for "Gentlemen's Quart erly," and Bonwit Teller, and now runs a studio in Cleveland, Ga.; Illustrator Bill Mayer, who has worked for clients including Levi's for Women, Jose Quervo, "Time Magazine," Tour de France, and won special acclaim for his "Bright Eyes" stamps for the U.S. Postal Service voted the most collectible stamp series of the decade; Scott Mikus, Principal of Crawford/Mikus Graphic Design Group in operation since 1989; Art director and Designer, A lston Anderson; Ted Boonthanakit, Storyboard Artist currently at work on "Spiderman 2;" and Tony Quin with IQTV Group.
