BAD Studio got front and center coverage from "Communication Arts." The design and advertising firm's work for Innovations was displayed on the cover of the magazine's May/June issue and within the cover story, "Great Ideas on a Limited Budget." The creative shown was excerpted from a point of sale poster BAD created for the midtown furniture store. Art Director, Lyn Albers said, "Since snow is a rarity in Atlanta, we decided to use the image of a snowflake. Everyone in the studio tried their hand at paper cutting the snowflakes!" The team turned to Freehand but found the result too forced. "So we handcut a mod ified version of our final design. All that technology and still the old fashioned way worked the best," Albers said. Albers coordinated with Designer/Illustrator Kevin Fitzgerald.
