On the client side, Edelman Atlanta continues to expand its business with the addition of three new clients. First, the Atlanta office of Edelman will expand its Georgia-Pacific (GP) relationship with two assignments: Dixie Cups and eSolutions.
Edelman will assist in designing and executing a new campaign to reinvigorate the Dixie Cups' brand of bathroom cups and dispensers. Focusing primarily on media relations and consumer outreach, the plan will target mothers interested in protecting their families from germs.
Edelman Atlanta will also develop strategic marketing plans for GP's IT unit doing business under the eSolutions name. The Atlanta office is partnering with Edelman Chicago's Technology & Business Marketing on the eSolutions business. Edelman will counsel the newly formed group on strategic marketing and operational needs. The Edelman team will help create a demonstration area on GP's corporate campus where prospects can evaluate IT solutions.
And finally, Edelman has won a competitive pitch for Scientific-Atlanta, the Atlanta-based Fortune1000 technology company that advances the delivery of entertainment, communications and information through its broadband and broadcast network technology and services worldwide. The program involves strategic and creative counsel to elevate Scientific-Atlanta's overall image and position.
