Joining Cookerly Public Relations as Assistant Account Executive is Becky Dickinson. A graduate of Loyola Univer sity with a degree in public relations, Dickinson comes from a Public Relations Specialist position with Media Direct in New Orleans. In addition, she worked in the artist management and development department of Tiptina’s Entertain ment also in New Orleans and in the media department of Atlanta’s T.G. Madison Advertising. Dickinson will work on the Raymond James Financial Services, Directo, and Atlanta Gas Light Company accounts.
Cookerly was recently chosen as public relations agency of record for AGL Resources, an energy services holding company serving 1.8 million + customers throughout Georgia, Tenn essee, and Virginia. The agency is currently working with AGL’s largest subsidiary, Atlanta Gas Light Company, a relationship that began earlier this year. Cookerly is working in conjunction with ad agency Creaxion on the Atlanta Gas Light account.
AGL ranked number 43 in The Georgia 100, a list of Georgia’s top businesses published by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The company’s revenue is estimated at $607.4 million. Cookerly will work in tandem with AGL’s corporate communications department on media relations and issues management. The agency will also work on building visibility for the company and its subsidiaries.
