Sawyer Riley Compton (SRC) and Aquent opened their doors to Russian ad executives in November. Russian entrepreneurs came on behalf of the Community Connect ions/Business for Russia, coordinated by the Georgia Council for Inter national Visitors (GCIV) and sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The program strengthens international business by offering professional internships, business seminars, and home stays.

SRC hosted Andrey Ershov, Di rector / Owner of Russian advertising firm, Kursiv. Ershov participated in a two week internship, working with SRC VP/Creative Di rector, Bart Cleve land and Account Executive, Allie Noznesky. Aquent hosted Olga Erzutova, Director and Co-Owner of Begemot, an advertising and publishing house. Erzutova met with Aquent agents Nancy Bailey and Jennifer Forst to discuss human re source issues and hiring processes for professionals in creative and technical fields. Ershov and Erzutova are two of a group of ten businessmen and women visiting from Russia’s third largest city, Nizhniy Novgorod.
