J. Walter Thompson (JWT) and the High Museum of Art have been working together for over a year to increase awareness and attendance for the fine art museum. The collaboration most recently begot ads for the museum’s visiting Renoir exhibit.
The concept for the “Rose Colored Glasses” campaign was that in Renoir’s world, everything was beautiful. To generate excitement for this campaign, JWT took photographs around town of people wearing rose tinted glasses, displaying them under the headline – “Atlanta Gets Ready for Renoir”
The ads ran in local lifestyle magazines, including “Atlanta Now,” “Atlanta Magazine” and “Southern Living,” as well as running weekly in the “Atlanta-Journal Constitution.”
