Once Meteor, then Photobition, now again Meteor. In 1999, Photobition P.L.C. purchased Meteor Photo & Imaging from the original owner, Harry Meunker. At that time the name was changed to Photobition Detroit and Atlanta. The photo and imaging company was recently purchased by Steve Grundner and renamed Meteor.

Grundner, who had stood with Meteor for over twenty years, purchased the company from Photobition P.L.C. after they went into receivership in the UK. The company’s facilities will continue to be located in the original locations, the management team has remained unchanged and combined has over 70 years experience with the company, and many of the original employees remain the same.

Grundner says, “Most of our employees have been with the company for over twenty years. There’s a feeling that we are all part of a family and have a true commitment to the business. Our people are what make the difference.”
