Techsonic Industries, parent company to Humminbird Fishfinders , enlisted McRae Communications to produce a television spot. The agency teamed up with Underwater Director of Photography Pete Romano out of Los Angeles. Romano, who customarily works with Hollywood notables like Steven Spielberg, is an Academy Award winning director who has worked on such movies as “Jaws,” “The Rock” and “Pearl Harbor.” Romano shot on location in Orlando with New York based Gotham Central Production Company filming a series of underwater sequences for the spot. Techsonic Industries is a division of Teleflex Morse, the leading supplier of marine steering, electronics and controls for pleasure power boats.
