Decatur’s Glass Eye Projects has named documentary Producer Luiz A. Lobo as the company’s Chief of New Project Development.

At PBS’ Iowa Public Television, Lobo was Project Leader and Executive Producer of “The Mississippi River Heritage Project,” which culminated in the nation’s first wide-screen telecasts, simultaneously broadcast from river locations in New Orleans, Memphis, and Dubuque, Iowa.

From his production offices in Des Moines, Iowa, Lobo also launched “Amazônia: Mother of Nature,” a documentary series about the Amazon Rain Forest of Brazil. While at Glass Eye, Lobo intends to prepare the series for international distribution.
