The Georgia Production Partnership (GPP), a statewide organization of filmmakers and film industry executives, announced new officers for 2002. Shay Bentley-Griffin will continue as President and continue to promote statewide film industry programs and events. Griffin is currently President of casting agency, Chez Group, one of the largest casting agencies in the southeast. Griffin also represents the State of Georgia as film liaison to Los Angeles, encouraging producers to film in the southeast region and use regional talent for supporting roles.
Matthew Timmons, CEO/General Manager of Production Consultants and Equipment (PC&E) was elected Vice-President. Other officers included: Treasurer Vivian Jones, President and Executive Producer of Karmavision Films; and Secretary Hilary Henkin, founder of prop supplies company, The Propper Source.
