Kudzu adds staff and supplies
Kudzu Graphics has grown in size, staff and equipment. The pre-press, printing, design company moved into Beck Atlanta’s former home at 1835 MacArthur Blvd., gaining 19,000 square feet in production space. The additional space allows for the company’s major addition – an 8 color half size Heidelberg perfecting press, the first in Atlanta. With their new press, Kudzu can use the latest printing technologies to produce higher end work with less turn around time. "We have always focused on the higher end market, opting to build our business through partnerships with like-minded clients. Now we can provide the same attentive service to more of the market, through the benefits of technology," said Kudzu Partner, Brad Cunard.
Kevin Kennedy joins Kudzu as Prepress Production Manager, bringing nine years of experience in design, pre-press, print buying, technical support and studio management. Most recently, Kennedy was Studio Manager/Production Manager with MRA. He is a graduate of Central Connecticut State Univer sity where he earned a BFA in Graphic Design and Print Production. At Kudzu, Kennedy will manage workflow implementation and efficiency.
Paul Riley also joins Kudzu as a Sales Representative, responsible for building the company’s presence across Metro Atlanta. Riley is a graduate of The Savannah College of Art and Design with a major in Graphic Design. He brings with him a background in print production and sales. In 1996, Riley purchased a small printing company and ran it successfully in Vidalia until 2001.
