Mike Adams Passes

Mike Adams, a grip once based in Atlanta, recently passed away. Adams worked and lived in Atlanta, Richmond, Va., and Wilmington, NC. Local film professionals who worked with Adams said he was a warm, friendly person and an accomplished professional who worked on innumerable crews for movies such as “Remember the Titans” and “Ironclads” for Turner.

“His body was like a canvas, “ said Billy Sherrill of Billy Sherrill Prod uctions. Even to people who didn’t like tattoos, Sherrill said, the tattoos that covered Adams looked like artwork. Local memorial services were held in Richmond and Wilmington.
