Documentary Comes out of TUBE
TUBE is currently providing online and sound mixing services for the documentary, "Briars in the Cotton Patch." Based on the story of Koinonia Farm located in Americus, GA, this true story revolves around an interracial community struggling to stay unprejudiced in an era when racial injustices abounded. The hour long program has been three years in the making by Producer Faith Fuller of Habitat for Humanity. Post production services will include online and color correction, a graphics package, as well as sound design and final mix in both stereo and Dolby Digital 5.1 formats.
TUBE's owner Chris Downs was the recent guest speaker at The American Intercontinental University Buckhead campus, where he hosted a 1 hour lecture for their "Survey of Digital Media" class. The discussion group covered topics such as how to prepare for a career in new media and design, keeping up with technology and design trends, and the importance and self-initiative and internships. The school hopes to provide more opportunities for guest speakers offering their professional guidance in video production, animation and new media design.
And finally, Tube hired Jackie Kubicz, an Editor and Interactive Designer, in January.
