Jon Hill Pictures on the Run
"Versatile" is definitely the word to describe Director/Cameraman Jon Hill who continues to stay busy with several projects in 2003, with collaborations ranging from 35mm motion pictures to 120mm still pictures. HillŐs whirlwind year began with a romantic comedy spot campaign for The Real Yellow Pages from BellSouth and West Wayne, shot at the Georgia Dome. After that, Fenner & Hamill called upon Hill to create a sentimental retro-home-movies-style journey for Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Then it was off to shoot another communications campaign in Tampa, Florida with Cleveland agency, WYSE Advertising for ALLTEL's telephone directory publishing division. Finally, early April found Hill in Tampa once again for an emotionally driven spot, this time for Lakeland Regional's Cancer Center.
Along with these commercial spots, Hill's still photography work with EM2 Design has recently been highlighted in such international design magazines as Communication Arts and HOW Magazine. His National Award Winning short film, White Bitch Down, has also been traveling the film festival circuit and is an official selection of the 2003 Atlanta Film Festival.
