Oasis Recording Studio has garnered a Telly Award for their work on Black and Decker's "Arctic Twister" ad campaign. Produced by Atlanta agency BKV Advertising, the winning spots include a re-recording of the Isley Bother's 1962 hit "Twist and Shout", and marks the third Telly for the studio. BKV commissioned Bob Gillespie and Oasis Recording to produce, record, and mix multiple versions of the classic party song. Gillespie says, "The sessions were a blast! We worked with local artists, which included a horn section, and recorded all instruments at the same time to achieve a live feel. Atlanta vocalist Adam McNight did a fantastic job with the vocals and literally made the spot. Creative Director Danny Snyder, Producer Cara Yesawich, Assistant Producer Brian Waldrop and the whole creative team at BKV Advertising were extremely easy to work with and provided some terrific direction.
