Illustrator Jay Montgomery was chosen for the first time to be in the prestigious Communication Arts Illustration Annual 2003.

Commissioned for a cover of VFW Magazine, the illustration shows a realistically moody scene with a guy at a desk surrounded by stacks of paper. We do not know if he is actually this busy, but Jay tells us that the guy is actually a loose self portrait.
