AIGA Honors 2 at EM2
The AIGA honors two at EM2 as Maxey Andress, EM2 Principal and Founder, receives the AIGA Fellow Award, and Managing Director Chris Martin is elected to serve a two year term as President of the association's Atlanta chapter. Andress, a former Atlanta chapter President himself, oversees all creative operations at EM2 and is an accomplished fine artist with gallery representation in both Miami and Atlanta. He receives the Fellow Award in recognition of his contribution to the Southern design community.
New Chapter President Martin has been an active member of AIGA for 14 years, serving on the board and chairing several committees including publications, education and most recently, professional development where he spearheaded a program consisting of a series of business lectures targeted to design studio owners and managers. As President his goals include building awareness of AIGA/Atlanta within the marketing communities its members serve, but his top initiative will be to build a larger and more involved membership base by providing more relevant and meaningful programs and resources that support the Atlanta design community.
