Junkin' at Guillotine Post
Guillotine Post teamed with Turner South recently to launch new original programming this summer, all aimed at promoting the highlights of life in the land of Dixie. Turner South Senior Writer/Producer Caroline Young teamed up with editors Christo Harris and P. J. Neely to create "sneak preview" segments and topical spots to help promote three distinctively Southern flavored shows: Junkin' , a fresh look at exploring cool second hand stuff where viewers can actually purchase items from the show online; Three Day Weekend, a show that explores great getaways in the region; and Blue Ribbon, which features the best of cookin', shoppin' and just plain lazin' around south of the Mason-Dixon Line.
Additionally, The Disney Channel commissioned Guillotine Post to help promote their original movie The Cheetah Girls. Senior editor Michael Koepenick wrote and edited the music video style promos for the debut of this film featuring Disney star Raven-Symone, as well as Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams from the pop girl group 3LW. Assisted by editors Christo Harris and Michael Lorant, Koepenick completed multiple spots using dailies, original graphics and newly composed music.
Koepenick and the Guillotine crew were also called to help commandeer the look and feel of the new Turner Classic Movies series Under the Influence, in which stars like William H. Macy, John Turturro, Nathan Lane and James Woods tell about the films that have influenced them most. Under the Influence will hit the small screen this fall.
