Feel Good at Cafe Central

Inspire One Productions' Conn Patrick Jackson has a vision. "Intelligent television that caters to women by presenting issues with emotion that intellectually entertains. A place where people can come to talk, share ideas, stories and thoughts, just like in European cafes." A show his mother, or anyone's mother, would be proud to watch. The culmination of that vision is Cafe Central, Atlanta's homegrown sister to Oprah's Oxygen network and Lifetime's We. According to its creators, Cafe Central is TV that "honors who you are, versus prescribing who you should be, " and "takes notice of the people, places and activities that make a difference in the Atlanta community."

Shown on Atlanta's AIB Network, TV 23 in Cobb County, and People TV, the new talk show debuted in March with longtime Atlanta resident Tina West in the co-host's chair. Notable recent guests on Cafe Central have included Georgia Secretary of Education Kathy Cox; LaToya Nicole, former member of super group Destiny's Child; Daryl Simmons, co-founder of LaFace Records; Oprah Winfrey's first recipient of the "Phenomenal Man" Award; and Kristen McGary, Amy McGary, and Sklyer Day, the creators and star of the new film Ociee Nash.

In addition to this endeavor, Conn has been busy producing another hometown venture, The Jackson Show, and is also developing a health and lifestyle weekly show, all from studios here in Atlanta.
