Jeff Bauman Joins Crawford Post
Crawford Post Production shoots and scores this summer with the addition of Colorist Jeff Bauman to the staff roster, and the completion of post work for six Icy Hot Back Patch spots starring the LA Lakers' Shaquille O'Neal.
A New York native, Bauman brings Crawford more than 8 years of experience in the film and video industry, and will run Crawford's Spirit Datacine suite, performing film to tape and tape to tape transfer, color correction and color enhancement for standard and high definition projects. Throughout his career, Bauman has transferred countless commercials, music videos and documentaries. His recent work includes national and international spots for Radio Shack, Honda, Lincoln-Mercury, Hallmark, Sprint, and PETCO, and a spot for Mitsubishi featuring rocker Jon Bon Jovi. He previously held positions at several LA creative shops like Riot, Four Media Company and Modern Video Film.
Also on the scoreboard for Crawford Post is the above mentioned Icy Hot post project. Chattem, Inc., a consumer products company headquartered in Chattanooga, TN, worked with their long time creative resource, DFI Creative in Los Angeles, to conceive and produce the campaign, and then chose Crawford for selects transfer, offline, online, graphics, color correction and audio work on the project. Crawford Editor David Bush used the Avid DS to perform the conceptualizing, offline, graphics compositing and tracking, and Sound Designer Dave Wilson did the audio sweetening and mixing for the commercials using sounds that worked naturally with stop and go action, and a soothing, needle drop music bed.
