Turner Studios is off to a banner awards year, having garnered an exceptional 20 PROMAX, 24 BDA, and 7 Southeast Regional Emmy awards in 2003. The prestigious PROMAX and BDA awards were presented during the annual PROMAX and BDA conference held June 4th through 6th in Los Angeles. Turner Studios swept the awards with a combined total of 44 PROMAX and BDA wins, with BDAs in on air design categories and other wins in creative promotional and interstitial graphics, illustration and animation. Among the studio's PROMAX wins were two coveted Platinum awards, won jointly with Turner Classic Movies, for Branding/Image and Reality Program Promotion.

The winning streak continued at the Southeast Emmy Awards held June 14th at Atlanta's Grand Hyatt Hotel, where Turner was presented with an outstanding 7 Emmys in the categories of photography, graphics and electronic design, music composition, audio engineering, entertainment and sports programming, and live directing.
