For the 26th annual Atlanta Jazz Festival, the City of Atlanta drew on the event management expertise of the wow factory to manage overall logistics for the 3-day event. The AJF is the largest free jazz festival in the world. Traditionally held over the Memorial Day weekend in Piedmont Park, the festival attracted a crowd of over 80,000 jazz lovers from throughout the SE. Working alongside the staff of the Bureau of Cultural Affairs and their previously selected vendors and contractors, the wow factory kept the festival on track, overseeing all logistical components including technical direction, stage management,security access and hotel accommodations and ground transportation for 17 local, national and international artists.
