Muse Public Relations has been selected to work with NBA basketball star Nick Van Exel, guard for the Golden State Warriors. The firm will provide media relations, event planning and management and community relations activities for the 10 year NBA veteran, and will be primarily responsible for the development, planning and management of the Annual Nick Van Exel Celebrity Weekend, held every June in Houston, Texas. The event serves as a way for Van Exel to give back to the city in which he resides off season with proceeds being donated to Houston area women's shelters.
