ComGroup makes the awards rounds with a strong showing this spring, as The Graphis Design Annual 2004, Lurzer's Archive Vol. 6, and the 2004 Show South Awards have all recently honored the firm's work.

In the Graphis annual, ComGroup was honored for package design for singer/songwriter Edwin McCain's CD "The Austin Sessions," and his DVD "Songs from the Acoustic Highway."

Archive featured the agency's college-marketing poster campaign for Oxford American Magazine, the Southern Journal of Good Writing. This visual campaign took typical southern clichŽs and gave them a literary bent, highlighting the magazine's literary excellence while embracing its southern heritage.

And for the third year in a row, ComGroup has also been honored at the prestigious Show South Awards. Work recognized included the Edwin McCain CD and DVD packaging, the Oxford American Magazine poster campaign, and a poster campaign for the Grant Park Conservancy aimed at raising awareness of the plight of the city's oldest surviving park.
