J.D. Fite is an Atlanta native. He is the Director of Communications at Marist School. J.D. has a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of the South and an M.A. in Film Studies from Emory University. In graduate school he made "beer money" by catering film shoots for many local Atlanta productions. When they are not working, which is rare, he and his wife, Kris, enjoys canoeing, rock climbing, cycling, and backpacking with their two dogs. On rainy days they like to go to the movies.
Unique Wright was born in Charleston, South Carolina, but has lived in Atlanta for the past two years attending Bauder College. She anticipates earning her associates degree in graphic design in July 2004. She has been interning at Oz during the spring semester, where she has worked on many design projects, including the initial concepting and design of this issue of Oz Magazine and the festival program for the 28th Atlanta Film Festival. Ms. Wright has a five-year-old daughter and looks forward to a career in publishing and advertising.
