ART PAPERS Inc proudly announces the hiring of Sylvie Fortin as the next Editor-in-Chief of Atlanta based, award-winning ART PAPERS Magazine. A native of Canada, Ms. Fortin has been working internationally since 1991 as a contemporary art curator, art historian, writer, and critic. She recently completed doctoral course work in Art History at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and will begin at ART PAPERS on October 1, 2004.

The new hire comes at a time of exciting growth for ART PAPERS Magazine, which includes a substantial two-year grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation and the Utne Independent Press Award for Best Arts/Literary Coverage of 2003. Named as one of the top art publications in the world by a recent Columbia University study, ART PAPERS covers contemporary art in every region of the United States and many cities worldwide.
