FREEBAIRN SNAGS OPTIVON
Freebairn & Co. announces that Optivon has retained the firm for advertising and public relations services. Optivon launched U.S. operations at the end of August for Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) unified communications service.
Optivon launched the U.S. services during the Channel Partners conference in Chicago. The Advanced Call Management system will initially target small to medium size businesses. Optivon's service includes personal agents, remote receptionist, contact centers and service dispatch, making small companies appear larger with
personal assistance for callers.
IP telephony, local and long
distance telephone calls are free with this service.
To date Freebairn has assisted Optivon in the strategic development of advertising, marketing and public relations efforts. "Freebairn's creativity and support has been outstanding, " said Luis G. Romero, President of Optivon. "The agency is a true marketing partner that we can count on for sound advice and a wide range of marketing communications tools."
In other news, The Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) received first place in the Association for Conservation Information (ACI) 2003 Awards Competition poster category. Freebairn & Co. created the winning poster to promote the state's new non-game wildlife conservation license plate, which features a bald eagle and American flag.
