Peter Siaggas Launches
Comedy/dialogue director Peter Siaggas, formerly at Pogo Pictures in Atlanta, has opened his own shop, Spots Films. Two days after Spots opened its doors, Siaggas collaborated with agency Sawyer Riley Compton to create a five-spot campaign for COMCAST. The commercials portray a reporter and the CEO of a satellite company in a 60 Minutes style interview, uncovering the poor services that his company
provides, and how COMCAST is
surely a better choice.
Immediately after the
COMCAST job, Siaggas went into production for The Lance Krall Show, an eight episode comedy-sketch show for SPIKE TV to air nationally in late January. The show was shot on-location around Los Angeles and Atlanta for forty-plus days. The show
features an eight member cast of improv actors based in L.A. "I can't believe I get paid to do this; I've never laughed so much, " says Siaggas of his experience on set. "The talent is so funny and the writing is great. I'm really lucky to be directing this show."
Five days after the SPIKE TV
show wrapped, Siaggas started work on a three-spot campaign for agency YPI, Inc. and their client Triad Hospitals. The spots feature children telling the story of their own births. The campaign is airing now in the Midwest.
Additionally, Siaggas will be shooting promos for the Nickelodeon network for Jamie Lynn Spears' show Zoey 101 in Malibu, CA. The promos and series premier in January on Nickelodeon.
