Happy 10th to Freelance Forum
The Freelance Forum marked its 10th anniversary in style by throwing an invitation-only "Party in Paris" extravaganza at Le Moulin Rouge, a twenties-style salon at Paris on Ponce. The Freelance Forum consists of more than 150 creative and marketing professionals, and has seen its membership triple since 2000. Its online database includes graphic and Web designers, illustrators, writers, editors, photographers, videographers, event promoters, public relations consultants, and more.
"It's time to look back at our history, celebrate significant milestones, and recognize the contributions and exemplary leadership of members who have made our group so successful," said Laura Heck, 2005 president of the Freelance Forum. Ten members - past presidents, founders and charter members - were recognized with the Freelance Forum Leadership Award: Stephanie Sharp, past president and founding member; Sharon Wasserman, past president and founding member; Kathy Couch, past president and charter member; Linda McCulloch, past president and charter member; Keith Bishop, past president; Laura Heck, president; Steven Knapp, past president; John Nelson, past president; Georgia Dzurica, charter member; and Paul Glickstein,
