Creative production and post-production boutique EditLab has just joined the high-definition revolution. The company has more than doubled its office space and built a state-of-the-art, fully HD-capable editorial suite in the process. EditLab features a fully-configured Avid Adrenaline HD system and a stand-alone HD graphics station networked together for increased project workflow. Projects shot and edited in high-definition can be delivered in a variety of formats, including traditional standard definition television.

"The new HD toys are awesome," jokes CEO and creative director Michael Curtis, "but what the clients love most is the new massage chair in the edit suite. Nothing helps with deadline pressures like a good fifteen minutes in that chair!" Seems the chair may have some good luck attributes as well, as EditLab was awarded five Telly Finalist awards in the 26th Annual Telly Awards Competition, adjudicated in March. EditLab won two bronze statuettes for excellence in graphics and live event programming for their high-energy show opening for insurance giant CNA. EditLab received three additional Tellies for video projects created for Worldspan, Scientific-Atlanta, and Atlanta Gas Light.
