The year long campaign, aptly named "CAPTain's Team" (Child Abuse Prevention Team), was executed in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Human Resources and the Department of Family and Children Services. The PRAME awards is the only awards ceremony which specifically spotlights the talents of African-American public relations, creative, and marketing professionals. Host organizations of the PRAME award include the National Association of Market Developers, the National Black Public Relations Society, the Organization of Black Designers, and the Black Creative Professionals Associations.
