Oasis Provides Fertile Ground For Gardener's Diary Oasis Provides Fertile Ground For Gardener's Diary Oasis Recording recently finished audio post on the third season of "Gardener's Diary,ª a series about America's gardening community. "Gardener's Diary" is unique in that it reads more like a documentary than a typical "how-to" program. Kathryn McDougald, Executive Producer, compares it to Charles Kuralt's "On the Road" because it offers viewers a chance to hear about interesting people who have a true love of nature. Most of the audio post involved the sweetening of existing tracks and the creation of ambient nature sounds, since most of the filming was shot on location.

Erica Glasener, the narrator, recorded voice-overs in Oasis' sound studio. Sound editing and mixing was shared by Oasis Sound Designer Bob Gillespie and Audio Engineer Chris Stafford. The series was filmed by veteran Cinematographer Bill Head. The show airs Monday nights at 10:30 p.m. and Saturday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. EST on HGTV (Home & Garden Television). The show is also scheduled for broadcast in various European countries, England, Japan, and Australia.
