Minsoo Pak Joins Crawford Intermedia Minsoo Pak Joins Crawford Intermedia Outstanding growth in the past few years for Crawford InterMedia, the Internet and multimedia service group of Crawford Communications, Inc., has recently fueled new hiring and projects. Crawford InterMedia designs and produces media for delivery via the world wide web, CD-ROM, or Interactive kiosks. Minsoo Pak, from Ogilvy & Mather where he was Director of Multimedia, was recently named Creative Director for Crawford InterMedia. At Ogilvy & Mather, Pak created web sites for clients, extended their brand onto the web, and established Kodak and Applied Imaging on the web. Pak now sees the web becoming key to many ad campaigns. He believes that in the past consumers would learn about products from conventional advertising and then use the web for more details. Now he feels that consumers are already on the web and get their branding message on-line first and then go to traditional advertising media for back-up information.

Crawford InterMedia also hired Laura Citron to head a production team. Citron recently served as Creative Director at MacQuarium, and her background is in commercial production. Crawford also appointed a new Art Director Will Weyer, and Designer Karl Wattenburg to Pak's creative team.

In addition to new hires, Crawford InterMedia has been busy with many new projects. For MGM, InterMedia created an online marketing web site for "The Deceiver," a January 1998 movie release. The site includes information about the movie, cast, and previews. The browsers can even play games and solve mind teasers about the movie and choose from three "Deceiver" screen savers. Another project was Santa's official web site. Kids sent e-mails to Santa and received a customized response within two days. Crawford InterMedia also did work for NETRoadshow, Inc.
