Five Nights of Biblical Proportions Five Nights of Biblical Proportions Turner Broadcasting's TNT Latin America network recently called on Karl Horstmann of Triple Horse Productions to create stylish commercials for its series of Biblical movies. Horstmann is not a stranger to Turner, he worked in the Visual Effects Department for seven years before creating his own business in 1990. The TV empire has remained one of Horstmann's loyal clients.

Horstmann and his crew created an Egyptian desert at sunset to promote the classic elegance of the movies "Moses," "Joseph," "Jacob," "Genesis," and "David." The creative involved clips of the movies tied in with the desert scene, and the camera moving along the sandy floor and up on a buried scroll. A great wind blows the sand away to expose the scrolls, announcing the name of the film, or a list of films. Members of the crew included: Director of Photography D.J. Roller, Art Director Rick Morganelli, and Design Director Mike Andriolla. Chris Mellon built the scrolls and desert set.

Horstmann also recently purchased the Softimage DS, the latest technological advance in digital post production. This is the first Softimage DS purchase in the Southeast. The system expands Triple Horse's post production capabilities, which include an AVID non-linear system and an additional Macintosh based paint station. Horstmann recently completed a promotion for Realtree Outdoors and the Winston Cup racing team using the new system. Triple Horse Productions, Inc. will also be featured in Softimage's marketing campaign.
