The Ideas are Flowing Now The Ideas are Flowing Now Innovative "thought bubble" advertisements, "block party" events, and "cool" promotional items helped Idea Associates, Inc. capture the gold award at this year's Professionalism Awards banquet. The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association presents the awards annually to recognize excellence in marketing within the home building industry. Idea Associates' creative marketing, advertising, and promotional campaign for the award-winning Medlock Bridge won them a gold in the "Best Marketing Campaign- Developer" category. "Come Join Our Block Party" was the central theme around the campaign, which used promotional events and items targeted to generate prospective home buyer traffic. They included coolers with a Medlock Bridge logo, a garden party, and cash giveaways. Idea Associates distinguished the community from the surrounding neighborhoods by using a technique rarely seen in this market, an artist's illustration and minimal copy. Idea Associates also won awards in the "Best Marketing Promotion-Builder," "Best Brochure," and the "Best Print Ad- Magazine" categories.

In addition to winning awards, Idea Associates is adding to their team. Heather Murdock will be in charge of media buying, maintaining current public relations campaigns for client accounts, and coordinating all company promotions and events as Public Relations and Media Director. Murdock brings the agency a wealth of experience in developing comprehensive public relations plans and writing and distributing press releases and strategic analysis.

Lucy Brunning also joined the firm as an Account Executive. She will initially handle clients in both Atlanta and Raleigh/Durham, NC. Brunning will coordinate all marketing and advertising efforts for clients such as Creekside Golf & Country Club in Hiram, GA, Wakefield Plantation in Wake Forest, NC, and Cary Glen, in Cary, NC.
