Custom Marketing Group (CMG) of Atlanta has formed a worldwide partnership with PUBLIGroupe of Lausanne, Switzerland. With offices in more than 20 companies, PUBLIGroupe is a global network of sales and marketing companies. Thomas Garzilli was named Custom Marketing Group's CEO and Managing Director. Garzilli helped start CMG in 1992 and is responsible for managing the expansion of its business worldwide through PUBLIGroupe's 35 international offices, and overseeing CMG's international tourism initiatives and contract publishing businesses, which total more than $15 million in revenues.

CMG develops cooperative marketing programs for some of the leading destinations in the world. It is the industry's only destination management company that partners city, state, and regional tourism divisions with the world's leading hospitality companies to create measurable travel initiatives. CMG has raised more that $55 million for clients such as Hawaii's Visitors & Convention Bureau, the New York Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Hong Kong Tourist Authority. Affiliation with PUBLIGroupe's international network will give CMG the opportunity to offer more global representation and new destinations to clients. CMG recently won an HSMAI Platinum Award for its 1997 Cultural Chicago Program, developed in conjunction with the Illinois Bureau of Tourism.
