Rountree Group is Blossoming Rountree Group is Blossoming Rountree Group Inc. continues to "bloom" in the first quarter of 1998 with its recent work on The 1998 Southeastern Flower Show. Rountree's efforts helped the show reach its highest goal of 45,000 attendees. This is the third year Rountree has worked on media relations for the Southeastern Flower Show. Don Rountree, Client Development Director, explains that the event was highly visible, with CNN lensing two programs, WXIA's "Peachtree Morning" was broadcast live from the show, and major national magazines featured its activities.

Two Rountree employees are also blossoming. Karen Young has been promoted to Editorial Services Director. Young joined Rountree in 1996 as Editorial Services Director and now oversees the editorial content and quality of the agency's written materials and leads activities for several accounts. Joining Rountree after 11 years of experience as a Reporter, Writer, and Editor for major news organizations, Young also emphasizes business related topics. In addition to writing for an American City Business Journal publication and reporting for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Young authored a book on financial services.

Ashley Leary has been promoted to Assistant Account Executive. Leary joined Rountree Group in the Fall of 1997 as Account Coordinator, and her responsibilities include media relations, research, and day-to-day account activities. Leary led Rountree's efforts for The 1998 Southeastern Flower Show. Before joining Rountree, Leary completed internships in the public affairs department at Alumax, Inc., and at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia.
