Stone Mountain Park recently hired The Headline Group to generate national awareness of the park's events and attractions such as the Yellow Daisy Festival, Springfest, Mountain Skylift, and the Scenic Railroad, and to promote the park as an attraction and recreational destination among local residents and tourists. Silver Dollar City of Branson, Missouri recently took over the management of Stone Mountain Park. The company, which has committed approximately $7 million to park improvements over the next two years, also manages American Adventures and Dollywood. THG will launch a public relations campaign that targets local, regional, and national media, combined with strategic community alliances and partnerships.
Tucker Federal Bank retained THG to oversee its internal and external communication initiatives. Operating 15 branches in Northeast and Southwest Atlanta, Tucker Federal Bank is the second largest Atlanta-based banking institution.
THG was also chosen to manage publicity for Cirque du Soleil's 1998 performance entitled Quidam. The agency began representing the French-Canadian theatrical circus during its first visit to Atlanta in 1991.
Custom Marketing Group, a destination marketing and contract publishing company, joined THG's client roster as a national public relations account. CMG, operating out of Atlanta and Los Angeles, is a division of PUBLIGroupe, a global network of sales and marketing companies based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Atlanta's Crescent Heights hired THG to handle promotional and publicity work. Crescent Heights, a commercial real estate developer based in South Florida, specializes in converting high rise apartment buildings into luxury condominium towers. Local developments include the Grandview, in Buckhead, and the Mayfair, in midtown Atlanta.
