Kathleen M. (Cooper) Friend, Larry Smith & Associates

Kathleen M. (Cooper) Friend joined Larry Smith & Associates, Inc. Advertising & Design, where she will be involved in strategic planning, developing new business, and generating awareness for the agency. Cooper has more than 15 years of experience in advertising, public relations, and special event management. She began her career in a special events subsidiary of Meldrum & Campbell, in Cleveland, OH. In New York, she was an Account Executive at Grey Advertising, working on the Borden's Elmer's Glue and Krylon Spray Paint accounts. Cooper then moved to Atlanta and became Account Manager for American Express at Ogilvy & Mather. She then served as Director of Marketing at Donnelly Communications, in Atlanta. Over the past five years Cooper has been involved in charity fundraising, organizing and running marathons on behalf of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the National Leukemia Society. She also served as Chairman for the Cobb YMCA major fundraiser, "Kids Need Heroes."
