"Putt for dough, drive for show!" WHOA! Films and J. Walter Thompson stuck by the golf quote for Chick-Fil-A and Atlanta Area Ford Dealers. WHOA!'s DP and master of the game, Bill Orisich, shot a hole in one on 16mm for the Atlanta LPGA benefit tour. J. Walter Art Director, Ken Young, and Broadcast Producer, Mig Burst, tee'd it up with WHOA! Executive Producer Kevin Sargent and Production Coordinator Kris Johnson, keeping the ball out of the bunker at Eagles Landing Country Club. Truett Cathy, Founder of Chick-Fil-A, appeared for the annual fundraiser to support the children at WinShape Foster Care.

Using a nine-iron, Marina Skoplivich transferred the film on VTA's Rank Ursa Gold while Orisich used the wingcutter to edit the spot. WHOA! pros Adrian Guedin, Brad Mace, and Jon Philpot edited for a birdie. Wearing his favorite pink and grey striped shirt, Guedin used the FLINT to correct a few details, coming in three under par. As plaid as he could be, Mace spun the ball on the SOFTIMAGE to create graphics. Philpot, in his loud yellow and green argyle outfit, awed the golf fans with a nice slice to the music gallery. As Ford favorite, Melissa McBride shanked in front of the camera The real stars of the show were the volunteer talents of Girl Scout Troop #498 and Boy Scout Troop #62. WHOA! production crew regulars Dudley Voll, AC; Stewart Ebneter, Gaffer; David Hulsey, Key Grip; Jon Stevens, Best Boy; Kristine Ellers, Craft Services; and Will Eccelston, PA, made the one day shoot possible. For the incredible ground shot, Hulsey and Stevens built a rig similar to a lawn mower to give Orisich control on his ball movement. The shot was delivered after three days of production, shoot to post.

Putt with WHOA!, drive for WHOA! Cox Communications did when WHOA! and Cox created an encore production of last year's "Spring Acquisition." The promotion excites cable viewers with new channels and program options, and the national campaign convinces viewers that Cox is "A Better Way to Watch TV." DP and Editor Orisich cut the spot. FLINTist Guedin displaced new scenes onto the white silk screen background without having to re-shoot. Guedin color corrected and layered the graphics.
