The year long brand building campaign portrays Tucker Federal with a small bank's personal service combined with big bank products and services. The campaign features a :30 television commercial with two talking sheep, one symbolizing a small bank and the other a big bank. The small bank sheep talks as the big bank sheep responds with a facial expression that shows indifference. Mark Kirkpatrick, Vice President of Marketing for Tucker Federal Bank, says that the campaign portrays the positive capabilities of Tucker Federal and delivers this message in an entertaining way.
The television commercial will run on A&E, CNBC, CNN, The Discovery Channel, ESPN, The Learning Channel, Lifetime, TNN, TNT, TV Land, USA, and The Weather Channel. There also is a :30 radio spot to run on WSB-AM/FM, WCNN-AM, WPCH-FM, and WSTR-FM. The campaign also includes fourteen billboards and in-branch counter cards. To gain insight into current banking attitudes, KilgannonMcReynolds conducted focus groups of banking customers in locations around metro Atlanta.
