Bull's Eye for Cat's Eye Bull's Eye for Cat's Eye Kitty Ray Swain of Cat's Eye Production Services captured the Videographer's Award of Excellence in Creativity/Editing for seven modules edited for Facemire/Satterfield's client, Central Atlanta Progress. The modules, projected on three large screens, were used to compliment CAP President Duane Ackerman's speech at their recent annual meeting. Allen Facemire, DP for the project, shot architectural elements in Atlanta's downtown district, and Swain framed and highlighted footage portraying progress in the areas of housing, public safety, the Fairlie Poplar district, and homeless services. Swain also superimposed CAP members' remarks, shot on blue screen, over the framed video footage. The frame theme was adopted by CAP and integrated in their printed materials. All post was completed on Swain's Avid Media Composer. The graphic frames were manipulated in Photoshop by Sheri Sipsis of Sipsis Graphics, and Bobby Tate of RKM Studios handled audio sweetening. Swain also won a Telly Award for her editorial work on three mini documentaries for The Centers of Disease Control's first national diabetes interactive satellite broadcast. Swain shares the award with Producers Susan Robinson of CDC and Hildreth Budd of Kinesis Productions.

Coca-Cola Producer Karen Bouldra also called on Swain's expertise to post and edit for Coke's video wall at the Food Marketing Institute show. Bouldra provided Swain with a series of contemporary spots for each of Coca-Cola's soft drink products. Swain then combined product shots, logos, and consumption shots to craft a 20 minute, 3-source show.
