Fitzgerald & Co. Launches Trade Campaign Fitzgerald & Co. Launches Trade Campaign The Television Bureau of Advertising (TVB) selected Fitzgerald & Company to develop their image campaign. TVB is a trade organization which educates advertisers on the advantages of local television and spot advertising. Fitzgerald & Co. will provide creative development, account management, and media planning. The television and collateral campaign will have a national scope, and the initial creative will be completed by Fall 1998. David P. Fitzgerald, President and CEO of Fitzgerald & Co., states that it will be challenging to convince advertisers of the advantages of local and spot television advertising, though Fitzgerald & Co. is eager to tackle the campaign. Kathy Whitehouse, Vice President of Retail Marketing for TVB, believes Fitzgerald & Co. has an understanding of both the emotional and rational factors involved in advertising decisions, and that Fitzgerald & Co. will be able to show advertisers that marketing on local television will tie the advertiser to the local community and build business.
