Graphic Havoc Completes Wamdue Project Graphic Havoc Completes Wamdue Project Graphic Havoc completed a 30 minute video for the world tour of Strictly Rhythm Records recording artist Wamdue Project. Strictly Rhythm approached Graphic Havoc to direct and produce the video, based on the design firm's experience with Wamdue. Graphic Havoc art directed and designed all print and promotional material for the group's latest album, "Program Yourself." The video, to be projected during live performances, contains hand-drawn elements, manipulated typography, original typefaces, still and animated 35mm photography, and original video footage. Henry Crinkle explained that budgetary constraints made animated 35mm stills the starting block for the whole piece.

While the actual album was still a work in progress, Graphic Havoc developed a visual metaphor for the music based on motion and transit in an urban environment. The city, how we interact within, around, and through it, and what that sounds like, determined the shape of the video. Mixing state-of-the-art animation software and rudimentary filmmaking techniques, the piece functions as both a piece of and critique of decades of filmmaking and animation.
