Due to the genius of the Hard Rock Cafe and creative energy of The Visual Arts Group, employees across the nation are cashing in. Hard Rock instituted an employee benefits program, encouraging employees to contribute to a pension plan. To convince people to give a small portion of their paychecks now to help build their futures, VAG showed the employees that their peers are doing it. VAG's Terry Tomasello explains that not only was the project successful for the client, it was one of the projects that earned them a Silver Telly. Company President Wm. Howell Upchurch, and his sister company Training Solutions Interactive, created kiosks for over 100 Cafes nationwide. Each unit consists of video segments of employees telling about their experience with the plan. The project is divided into three phases: the pilot, active kiosks, and on-line enrollment around the world: ultimately the information will be delivered through an intranet system.
