Atlanta interactive design company iXL welcomes John Harne as Executive Creative Director. Harne's achievements include nomination to Who's Who in American Art. Harne's interactive and Web projects began with the 1994 opening of Hummingbird Studio producing digital animation and graphic design for CD-ROM, screen savers, intranets, Internet, and market research software interfaces. He began his career in New York City as an Animator designing for commercial spots and television productions, including the Pee Wee Herman Show. He went on to direct and design for clients including Grey Advertising, NYSE, M&M Mars, and Panasonic.

iXL also hired Lorin Coles as Vice President of Strategic Alliances. With an extensive background in the technology industry, both field and corporate experience, Coles will initiate and develop strategic alliances between iXL and other technology leaders. Coles began his career in sales with NCR. After working in major account sales, Coles helped build NCR's server channel business. He later assumed positions as NCR's Southeast Regional Marketing Director and Assistant Vice President for the High Availability Marketing program. Most recently, Coles was Assistant Vice President of the Microsoft alliance team. Coles has a BA in Marketing from the University of Georgia.

iXL Video Services recently produced high end, graphic intensive video for Turner, Inc. The video will help sell luxury suites in the new Atlanta Arena, the future home for the NBA Atlanta Hawks and the NHL Atlanta Thrashers. The video is shown to prospective buyers during a sales tour of the Atlanta Arena marketing center, and combines the latest in 3-D animation with cameo's by Atlanta's premiere sports figures, including Atlanta Braves Pitcher Tom Glavine; World Heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield; and Time Warner Vice Chairman Ted Turner.
