THINK Acquires Interweb THINK Acquires Interweb THINK New Ideas, Inc. acquired Interweb, Inc., one of the Southeast's premier technology developers and Web presence solutions providers for Fortune 500 companies. Specializing in the development of application specific, enterprise wide technologies, Interweb will add a strong technology presence to THINK's existing Atlanta presence. Interweb's competencies will strengthen THINK's Atlanta office, helping to position THINK as a leader in providing interactive solutions throughout the Southeast region. All of Interweb's current clients, including BellSouth, Turner Entertainment, Time Warner, SunTrust Bank, First Data Corporation, Orkin, and the Boys and Girls Club of America, and all 50 current employees will be retained as the company becomes part of the global THINK operating structure. All Interweb management will also remain with the company and function both locally and on a THINK-wide level. William duPont, formerly President of Interweb, will become Managing Director of THINK Atlanta. Other key Interweb managers will take executive roles both inside THINK Atlanta and across the organization. The purchase price for the acquisition was $11 million, primarily in THINK common stock.
