WHOA! Makes Speech Processing Easy WHOA! Makes Speech Processing Easy WHOA! Films teamed up with Philips Speech Processing, a division of Philips Electronics, to introduce the cutting edge speech recognition technology to the world. The Philips' team of Matt Van Vleet, Communications Director for Philips Speech Processing, and Kelli Shell, Senior Designer for Philips Design Atlanta, sought out WHOA! to create a vision. From conception, storyboarding, filming, and posting, WHOA! manufactured the entire project. The active imaginations of WHOA! Films' Bill Orisich, Director and DP, Kevin Sargent, Executive Producer, and Kris Johnson, Project and Production Coordinator, brought forth the visuals. The two-day shoot was filmed on 16 mm and 8 mm at Philips in Atlanta, WHOA!'s studio, and throughout Midtown Atlanta.

The WHOA! production crew consisted of Dudley Voll, AC; Stewart Ebnetter, Gaffer; David Hulsey, Key Grip; and Karen Young, Stylist. Jon Philpot, WHOA!'s musical concierge, directed the sound traffic of voice-overs and sound design on PROTOOLS. Adrian Guedin, WHOA! FLINT magician, created an illusion by compositing layers of visuals and text treating shots. Brad Mace, WHOA!'s digital massage therapist, shaped and molded graphics on SOFTIMAGE. The complex and multi-layered presentation was brought together under Orisich's supervision using diverse techniques to blend smooth and jagged visuals. The project will be sent to global customers and will air throughout the world at international trade shows to launch Philips Speech Processing's technology.
