Kor Media Chosen For New Assignments Kor Media Chosen For New Assignments Kor Media, Inc. was selected for several high profile assignments from clients including Porsche Cars of North America, MCI, and the State of Texas. Porsche has chosen Kor to help direct its Internal/Employee Communications efforts. A culture building campaign proposed and designed by Kor, comes just months after Porsche moved its North American Headquarters to Atlanta. The education and motivation campaign will target Porsche's Atlanta based employees and will culminate in a major corporate giving campaign tied to Porsche's 50th Anniversary Celebration in the Fall.
MCI chose Kor to provide strategic and creative guidance to "NetVote '98- Rock the Ages," an on-line voter registration effort that partners the communications giant with AARP and "Rock The Vote." Kor is helping MCI promote the effort on and off-line and will rank the effectiveness of the campaign.
Kor also has been selected by Tuerff-Davis EnviroMedia Inc., the agency of record for the Texas Department of Transportation, to extend the award winning "Don't Mess with Texas" litter prevention campaign to the Internet. Kor beat out eleven other new media companies in a competitive bid to get the assignment.
Kor's broadcast unit was recently selected by Austin Kelley Advertising to produce a television spot for The Georgia Lottery, directed and edited by Kor's Sam Crawford. Kor Broadcast is in preproduction for a BellSouth Public shoot through WestWayne Advertising, to introduce their new "Pound-One" Dialing System. In addition, Kor Broadcast's Olga Traynina has been working on design for a Georgia Power TV spot, through Pollak Levitt Nel. Other recent Kor Broadcast projects include edits for BBDO/South and McCool Communications.
In addition to its business wins, Kor also announced the promotions of two key executives, Dan Skowronek, formerly with Dell Computers, has been promoted to Vice President of Finance and Administration. James Ray has been promoted to Vice President, overseeing Kor's sales, production, and business operations in Atlanta.
