Roy Communications recently promoted Karon Rogers to Vice President, Account Services. In her new position, Rogers will manage the company's account staff and interns, oversee the development of accounts, and help secure new business. Before joining the agency in 1997, Rogers developed and implemented campaigns for The Greater Minneapolis Convention & Visitors Association, The University of Minnesota's Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, The Greater Minneapolis Girl Scout Council, Honeywell, Inc., and CONTACT Twin Cities, among others. She also produced and moderated a community affairs program for an ABC affiliate in Minneapolis for 14 years. Rogers has chaired the Minnesota State Advisory Committee of the U.S. Civil Rights Commission and served on the Mayor's Minneapolis Initiative Against Racism media task force before her relocation to Atlanta.
